Wedding Tips 101

Spring is upon us and the countdown to your perfect day is on! Do you have your wedding
venue booked? How about your photographer? Caterer? Yes I know, for some brides-to-be, it’s
too early and for some you may feel it’s too late. Truth is, it’s all about the timing. As soon as
you have a wedding date you need to start the search for your perfect venue and your
photographer. Booking these as quickly as possible relieves a ton of stress, especially if you are
getting married during peak season.

Choosing the right photographer for your big day can be time consuming, so you want to start
early. Having an idea of what type of venue and your photo preferences will be extremely helpful
in making these very important decisions concerning your wedding day. This will also help you
narrow down or eliminate photographers who can’t bring your vision to life. Booking at least a
year in advance ensures that your date is saved and preparations can begin.

Of course there is so much more work to be done. There’s the dress, the flowers, the cake, etc.
etc. With that being said, make yourself a checklist, or check out Brides.com’s checklist by
month here. Enlist the help of friends and family and most of all don’t stress. Have fun and
remember this is your BIG day so make it an extra momentous occasion. Enjoy every step of
the process and remember you’re making memories that will last a lifetime!
